Hello,
We invite you to be part of a once-in-a-century moment as Cass Tech Harp & Vocal celebrates its Centennial. Rooted in a legacy that has influenced leaders across business, science, education, public service, and the arts, Cass Technical High School has built a global community of more than 85,000 alumni.
From Second Avenue to the world, that legacy lives on through the people who carry it forward.
Among Cass Tech’s many distinguished programs, Harp & Vocal stands apart. Founded in 1926, it remains one of the only public high school harp programs in the United States and a defining part of Detroit’s musical heritage.
To mark the Centennial milestone, we are celebrating with:
A weekend of signature events (June 5 - 7)
A dedicated website with a permanent alumni and supporter directory
Strings & Songs, a magazine-quality digital publication replacing the traditional program
We’ve also created a range of sponsorship opportunities for those who would like to be part of this special occasion, offering meaningful ways to support the program while gaining visibility.
We invite you to be part of this historic moment, supporting the program while aligning with a legacy that continues to shape Detroit.
Here’s how you can be part of it.

A weekend of signature events designed to bring the Cass Tech community together, including a concert at the Detroit Masonic Temple, alumni gatherings, and opportunities to reconnect, celebrate, and share in this milestone.

The Harp & Vocal Alumni & Sponsor Directory is a permanent space honoring the people who have shaped and continue to support the program. More than a list of names, it is a living record of a community connected through music, legacy, and shared purpose.
Alumni and sponsors are invited to add their name, photo, and contact information and become part of this ongoing story, strengthening connections and helping carry the program forward for years to come.

Cass Tech Harp & Vocal alumni are invited to be part of the Centennial Concert, joining current students on stage for this once-in-a-century celebration.
Rehearsals are being organized in advance, and alumni who wish to participate are encouraged to RSVP to receive details and secure their place in the performance.

To support the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal Centennial, we’ve created two distinct ways to participate, each designed to offer meaningful visibility while aligning with this historic celebration.
Sponsorships include both event presence and digital exposure, while advertising options focus on visibility within the digital platform.
(1) Sponsorships Sponsorships are designed for organizations and individuals who want to be part of the Centennial experience itself with a presence both at the event and across the broader digital platform.
All sponsorships at the $500 level and above include:

For those looking for an additional way to participate, advertising options offer meaningful visibility and a way to connect with the Cass Tech community beyond event-based sponsorship.

To mark the Centennial milestone, we created something more than a traditional program. Strings & Songs: The Official Centennial Digital Program is a professionally curated digital magazine designed to live well beyond the event.
Through sponsor storytelling, alumni spotlights, and archival features, it becomes a lasting platform where stories are seen, shared, and remembered.
Because people connect more deeply with stories than traditional advertising, it offers a more meaningful way to engage with the community and be part of the narrative surrounding this historic moment.

The Centennial Portrait Series elevates sponsorship beyond traditional advertising into a professionally written, magazine-quality feature that tells your story and highlights your support of the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal legacy.
Centennial Portraits feature:
Editorial-style storytelling that showcases your brand story, purpose, and values with images and videos (if available)
A polished asset you can use across your own marketing and communications
We have included a featured Centennial Portrait below:

The Triangle Society - What started as a simple idea between two Cass Tech alumni has grown into something much bigger—supporting students, strengthening programs, and shaping what comes next.

As stories and events are shared, they become part of a broader celebration across the Cass Tech and Detroit community. Whether you are an alum, a proud Detroiter, or someone who believes in supporting arts education, your voice helps carry this moment forward.
We’ve created a “Share Our Story” page on the website to make it easy for you to help spread the word. You’ll find downloadable graphics, videos, and ready-to-use social posts highlighting the Centennial, upcoming events, and the Strings & Songs digital magazine.
We invite you to share with your network and help us extend the reach of this celebration—connecting more people to the legacy, the students, and the community behind it.
