For more than a century, Cass Technical High School has stood among Detroit’s most influential educational institutions, shaping generations of leaders across the arts, business, science and technology, education, and public service.

Founded in 1926, the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal Program remains one of the only public high school harp programs in the United States — a rare and enduring tradition sustained through generations of musicians, educators, and alumni.​

​Cass Tech was never a school you simply attended.

​

You applied.

You were chosen.

You were expected.

 

Expected to work.

Expected to rise.
Expected to carry something forward.​

Shaped by it.
Forever connected.

Today, that legacy continues as the program celebrates 100 years of excellence with a once-in-a-century reunion of voices, musicians, and alumni.
