The Class of '72 is Keeping Cass Tech Connections Alive Through Friendship, Fellowship, and a Shared Commitment to Community

For decades, the Cass Tech Class of 1972 Fun Times Society has helped keep classmates connected through shared memories, friendships, and a strong sense of community. Through reunions, jazz brunches, holiday gatherings, cruises, and special events, the group has created opportunities for classmates and friends to reconnect and continue the relationships that began at Cass Tech.
What stands out most about the Class of ’72 is the consistency of their connection. Years after graduation, they continue finding ways to bring people together, celebrate milestones, and create new memories. Their events are not just social gatherings. They reflect the kind of lifelong connection that Cass Tech has inspired across generations.
The group has become an example of how alumni communities can continue to grow long after high school. The friendships, pride, and shared history built at Cass Tech remain at the center of everything they do, and that spirit continues to bring people back together year after year.
The Cass Tech Class of 1972 Fun Times Society is a true example of what it means to be “From Second Ave. to the world. Shaped by it. Forever connected.” Their continued support of the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal Centennial Celebration reflects a lasting commitment to preserving the relationships, traditions, and community that make Cass Tech special.
