Centennial Portraits are in-depth, magazine-caliber feature stories highlighting the individuals, businesses, and organizations who help support the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal program and its 100-year legacy. Rather than traditional advertising, each portrait is crafted as editorial storytelling that introduces readers to the people behind the support and the values that connect them to music, arts education, and opportunity for Detroit’s youth.

Centennial Portraits are included with sponsorships of $1,000 or more, providing supporters with an opportunity to share their story while helping sustain the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal program.


Sponsors complete a brief intake form sharing background about their work, their brand story, and their commitment to supporting Cass Tech Harp & Vocal and expanding opportunities for Detroit’s youth through the arts. That information is then shaped into a professionally written feature article designed to read like a magazine profile. Brand storytelling is one of the most effective forms of marketing because it allows audiences to connect with the people, purpose, and values behind the work.


The Portrait Series is produced in partnership with DiVita Creative Group, a marketing, event production, and web and graphic design firm owned by a Cass Tech alum who designed the Centennial website and digital magazine. After reviewing your intake form, the team will draft your article and conduct a brief interview to gather additional insights. This process helps ensure the story feels authentic, personal, and professionally written.


Each Centennial Portrait includes


  • A professionally written feature article telling the story behind your brand, organization, or work and highlighting your support of the Cass Tech Harp & Vocal community.

  • A dedicated feature page within the Centennial Digital Magazine, designed to read like a magazine article rather than a traditional advertisement.

  • Visual storytelling elements, including multiple images and optional video that help bring your story, business, or organization to life.

  • Prominent placement within the digital magazine, helping readers discover the individuals and businesses supporting the Harp & Vocal Centennial.

  • Expanded reach through Centennial communications, with portraits shared through email newsletters and social media as new stories are released.
